As part of the celebrations of the centenary of The Waste Land, the T.S. Eliot Foundation has commissioned five Irish artists to interpret the poem's five sections; Jonathan Hunter on The Burial of the Dead, Alison Pilkington on A Game of Chess, Stephen Loughman on The Fire Sermon, Conor Horgan on Death by Water and Domino Whisker on What the Thunder Said.
The resulting signed and numbered limited edition prints were unveiled at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris on the night of December 7th 2022, as part of a special centenary event featuring Charlotte Rampling, Lambert Wilson, Amira Casar, Bruno Fontaine, Christophe Dilys and Adrian Dunbar.
I’m delighted that several prints have already been sold to private collectors in Ireland and France.
The digital pigment prints are on 300gsm 100% cotton rag paper in an edition of 50, dimensions: A2 (42.0 x 59.4cm) and are available to buy at 250 euros. For further information and purchasing, please contact thewastelandprints@gmail.com
