I'm very sorry to hear that the amazing (and tiny) Assassination Custard cafe has finally closed its doors, but also very glad that not only did I get to eat there, I introduced several friends to what was an absolutely magical place to eat. No other word for it.
I rarely do food photography, but when Ken of AC asked me to shoot their ciambellone* (or Italian breakfast cake) for the Sunday Times I leapt at the chance.
I wish Ken and Gwen the very best, and look forward eagerly to whatever they do next.
